The December 10, 2024 edition of WWE NXT will be broadcast live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Despite losing against Oba Femi in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline, Evans remained optimistic during a post-match interview.

Stepping in as a last-minute replacement for Eddy Thorpe in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match, Femi not only participated but dominated the competition, securing a monumental victory. His win has now set him up for a high-profile clash with WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams. Prior to his time away, Femi enjoyed a historic 272-day reign as the North American Champion before losing the title to Tony D’Angelo at Halloween Havoc 2024. The six-foot-four-inch star’s comeback has once again placed him in the spotlight, proving his capability to headline major events.

Oba Femi returned triumphantly at NXT Deadline, as the surprise entrant in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge. Femi not only competed but won convincingly, earning himself a future opportunity at the NXT Championship. Femi’s incredible showing at Deadline has caught the attention of several WWE stars, including former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. At a recent Fanatics event, Priest praised the rising star, predicting his inevitable rise to megastardom. “That’s gonna be a megastar,” Priest said. “You can just tell sometimes… he’s gonna be fine.
